Vetora Rotorua, Casual – Customer Service Team Member

Vetora Bay of Plenty is excited to offer a casual position for an experienced Customer Service team member to join our Rotorua team. 

We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated, professional customer service/front of house representative, ideally with at least 1–2 years’ experience in a similar environment. You will work with a supportive, positive, close-knit team in Rotorua in a companion animal focused environment.

Ideally the position requires:

  • Working closely with the vets and vet nurses to deliver quality service and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of companion animal veterinary products and drugs to enable you to provide professional, efficient, and effective ‘front of house’ customer service for Vetora Bay of Plenty. 
  • Strong computer skills to assist you in telephone communication and bookings, over the counter sales and stock control.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Provide administration support to assist vets and clients with the effective management of animal health care.
  • A great sense of humour.

About you:
You would be responsible for booking and coordinating the daily activities of our veterinary team, as well as background administration tasks. 

On top of this you would be dealing with our clients and patients at the front of the clinic daily, being a friendly, familiar face and giving information on products and services. You will be values focused, action orientated, compassionate and approachable and will be highly adaptable and flexible.

Our clinic standards and attention to patient care are very high, and we expect that yours would be too. The daily working hours are 8.00am to 5.30pm you may be called on to work full-days or portion of the day depending on the Clinic needs. Ideally you would be starting as soon as possible.

Vetora Taupō, Permanent – Front of House Super Star

Vetora Bay of Plenty is excited to offer a permanent full-time position for a Customer Service Super Star to join our Taupō team.  

We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated, professional customer service/front of house representative, ideally with at least 1–2 years’ experience in a similar environment. Vetora Galatea, Permanent Position – Mixed Animal Veterinarian

Partner with farmers in a thriving rural community 

Salary range: NZ$140,000 – NZ$170,000. This is preferably a FULL-TIME permanent position.

Vetora Galatea is one of FIVE clinics operated by Vetora BOP in the Bay of Plenty/Central Plateau region of the North Island. We are a ‘profit for purpose’ business owned by our 329 farmer members. We employ 78 staff, including a mix of 19 large and companion animal veterinarians.

  • Work closely in partnership with farmers to look after some of their most important assets.

Vetora Bay of Plenty has Mixed and Large Animal Veterinarian positions available throughout our network of five clinics within the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato.
